These lesson plans have been created in response to the production and as a follow up to your visit to the Coterie. They offer ways to connect the show to your classroom in coordination with state standards and curriculum.

Point of View Lesson for Grades K-5

  • This lesson plan is for use after you come to The Coterie. It asks students to actively explore the point of view of multiple characters from the show and recreate key moments.

Ph Levels for Grades 4-8

  • This lesson plan is for use after you come to The Coterie. It has students to use an acidification simulation to see how fish like Nemo are affected by the rising acidification of the ocean.

Inside a Whale Stomach for Grades 4-6

  • This lesson plan is for use after you come to The Coterie. It has students recreate the feeding strategies of whales and compare using a bar graph.
