Subsidies & Grants

The Coterie is pleased to offer Your Ticket to Ride, a program providing transportation funding for school groups. We hope providing subsidies will assist schools in need, where transportation costs may preclude them from attending a Coterie production. Available on a first come, first served basis, The Coterie Transportation Fund will provide assistance up to $3.00 per student to defray transportation costs for any K-12 school bringing a group of 20 or more students to see an eligible Coterie production.

Missouri Arts Council Bus Grants

The Missouri Arts Council (MAC) offers grants to pay for bus transportation for schools taking a field trip to attend arts events funded by MAC – which includes all of The Coterie’s plays. MAC will grant up to $300 per school per year for this transportation on a first-come-first-served basis.

To apply go to the Missouri Arts Council website, click on the “Get Funding” tab and under that click on “Apply or Manage Your Grant.” On the grants page scroll down to “Click here to create a new profile.” Once logged in, click on “Current Programs and Applications.” Look for the BIG YELLOW SCHOOL BUS grant which has a link to the application.
